About the event
Join Compass Montessori families, students, and staff for our annual Peace Day Sunrise Hike up South Table Mountain. We’ll gather before dawn and hike together from 5:00–7:00 AM, welcoming the sunrise as a community while honoring the Montessori tradition of peace, kindness, and respect for one another.
This special event is a chance to slow down, connect with other Compass families, enjoy the beauty of nature, and reflect on the values that unite our school community. Hikers of all experience levels are welcome—just bring comfortable shoes, water, and a light jacket for the cool morning air.
Together, we’ll celebrate Peace Day with friendship, gratitude, and an inspiring start to the day. We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful Compass tradition.
